Wow — Leo Carrillo Ranch is such a dreamy venue! I was drooling all day long at the beautiful cactus and Spanish architecture throughout the property.

My favorite things about this wedding however, were Hannah & Chris, the couple themselves. These two creative powerhouses put together a stunning and emotional day. I was impressed by their ability to stay present for each moment during the day — knowing it would all pass by so quickly. They also expressed every emotion fully, creating some super beautiful and memorable images and then they had more fun at their dance party than just about any newly married couple I’ve ever seen. This is the BEST thing a couple can do for their wedding photos, as it allows me to capture candid, authentic moments without forcing anything.
One of Hannah’s favorite things is the Bob Baker Marionette Theater — they even considered hosting their wedding there, but had too many guests to fit. But Chris wanted to do something special for his new wife, and he planned a surprise marionette performance during the reception. Hannah’s surprised reaction was priceless and full of pure joy. I loved seeing this couple dote on one another all day, gushing over how in love they were and what a great day they were having. I felt drunk on love by the time I left, that’s for sure!
Enjoy these images and be sure to check out Hannah & Chris’ Palm Springs engagement session too!
