Rosie & Joe’s millennial pink Korakia Pensione wedding was featured on 100 Layer Cake this week! Beyond being excited about the feature – I just have to say what a privilege it was to play the role of photographer in this wedding day in Palm Springs because it was such a unique and special day for a truly amazing couple. Rosie & Joe are the coolest, most stylist & fun, modern couple I’ve photographed in a while – I loved every second of their wedding day! They opted for a day that 100% matched who they are as a couple. Everything just felt so genuine from the design all the way to their beautiful vows to one another.
Being at one of Palm Springs’ most incredible venues, Korakia Pensione, I already knew the day would feel bohemian and travel-inspired, but I love how they chose to bring in a ton of fun with millennial pink details throughout, mismatching bridesmaid dresses, a custom-designed gown made by the bride’s sister and a totally modern version of a chuppah. They even wove Jewish tradition throughout the day to honor Rosie’s family. Of course, all the blooms from Siren Floral Co. were absolutely breathtaking, and everyone’s hair and makeup was flawless all day thanks to Cheek to Cheek Artistry.
The couple opted for a traditional first look – an emotional one as Rosie walked down the aisle, which was precious. I had to hold back a lot of tears during the ceremony myself! From the moment Rosie circled Joe 7 times to their beautifully written vows – I think every guest felt the heart behind each moment. After they were married, these two threw an unmatchable dance party in the desert. I hope you enjoy all these Korakia Pensione wedding photos!
