Ever since I attended a friend’s wedding at the Ebell back in 2016, I have been dying to photograph a wedding there! I cannot get over the graphic tile floors and Spanish arches — it’s just *chefs kiss*. Even better than the space is the couple who I got to photograph! I met Marie & Stanley years ago when they were in the wedding party for a wedding that I also photographed. This group of friends is so energetic and genuine and I was so thrilled to capture another couple in the group!
There were so many memorable moments at this wedding, like Marie’s first look with her dad. Such a precious and emotional moment! And of course, Stanley had an amazing reaction at their first look too! You will too — Marie’s dress is iconic. So many of their guests traveled from all over the world to be there — NorCal, Europe and Japan — and believe me, if you were friends with Marie & Stanley, you’d make the trek too.
We loved working alongside planner extraordinaire, Klink Events, who kept everything running without a hitch. A fun detail was that their DJ also played the saxophone! It made for a fun mix between popular music and a live element, which brought a lot of energy into the space. To finish the night, they served ice cream push pops which were a huge hit among guests. We hope you enjoy these images as much as we did snapping them!
