He planned a romantic train ride, wining and dining her before dropping to one knee.

Trains make her motion sick and she couldn’t wait to be back on solid ground.

After a mini interior panic, he decided to take care of his girl, give her rest, and wait patiently.

She was feeling back to normal and agreed to go on a walk along the Russian River where they came across a beautiful secluded garden.

… she said YES!

Melissa & Rory are just as sweet as can be! These two lovebirds love their home in the East Bay and really wanted to capture the beauty of it’s hills in their session. It was insanely windy and cold, and they were such champs about it! We were having way too much fun to worry about which way Melissa’s hair was whipping in the wind!

My favorite part of their session was one of those in-between moments – we were walking down the hill to a new spot, and Rory stooped down to pick a tiny wildflower and gave it to Melissa. I just thought that was the most precious gesture of kindness and affection towards Melissa! I adore these two, loved meeting them & popping some bubbly and I cannot wait for their wedding next Summer. In the meantime, enjoy the photos from their Dublin engagement session!
