Kaitlin & Jean-Eric’s Hotel Figueroa wedding was so creative and fun!! From a cake that matched the mural on the hotel’s exterior to hilarious table names, the details were out of this world — pure fun and color — truly Los Angeles. One of my favorite moments of the day (and the couple’s!) was the cozy, fireplace ceremony & the thoughtful language used throughout. The highlight being the way Kaitlin & Jean-Eric changed their traditional ring exchange to read:
“I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, as a reminder of my dedication to you, and as a part of my master plan to scare off anyone who thinks they have a shot with you. You are the love of my life and my very best friend.”
The color palette featured fresh pinks, burnt oranges and light sage, with a blue pop from Hotel Figueroa’s iconic Bella Gomez mural. The decor took inspiration from the Mediterranean venue with Spanish-inspired blue china, gold flatware, and a bit of French-inspired bistro chairs (a nod to Jean-Eric’s early years growing up in France). This was all executed flawlessly by the team at Feathered Arrow Events and Blooms Dunn Right.
It was so much fun to capture such a special and intimate celebration just steps away from my old apartment in DTLA overlooking the city I adore so much. If you’re looking for a great downtown Los Angeles wedding venue, Hotel Figueroa is a gorgeous spot!
