I’m so thrilled to share this feature with you. It’s such a gorgeous Fall / Winter shoot and it was featured on Wedding Chicks last month!
The inspiration for this shoot were the colors of the turning leaves in Autumn – specifically deep wine reds, warm ambers and natural greens. We chose a location that had a rustic, yet elegant feel that contributed perfectly to the vision.
For the table, the main goal was to create a space that felt welcoming and comforting, yet still felt special for a wedding day. Luxury and elegance played a huge role in this shoot using specialty furniture, a decadent dessert display and a couture gown. However, the rustic Fall elements were the main players – understated Fall-toned florals, rough edge stationary and a custom distressed wood bar.
Enjoy a few of my favorite moments + a great cocktail recipe 🙂

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel about the incredible team that was involved in creating this shoot – I’m floored by the final product and could not be happier. Here’s a little more about the inspiration for the shoot as well as a few of my favorite images!
The City of Angels shoot is inspiration for the modern LA bride who wants to embrace her *own* style on her wedding day. With this shoot, we sought to create something that would appeal that trendy LA couple who frequents Verve Coffee, lives in a historic artist loft and could be found meandering around the flower market on Saturday mornings.
To achieve this very minimal, modern LA vibe, we took bridal style somewhere different – keeping our florals to only greenery, letting the groom wear his favorite denim jacket instead of a tux & choosing a venue with the very best view of the city.
One of my favorite parts of the shoot was the Mondrian-inspired greenery wall that Inessa created. Not to mention, the sassy black & white American flag table and most of all ending on a helipad overlooking the entire City of Angels. We are so thrilled to share the outcome – we had the time of our lives creating this!
