I met Melissa just in the nick of time — a trip to Colombia in February 2020. She was living in Chicago at the time and I didn’t think I’d see her again, but then she and her fiancé moved out to San Diego during the pandemic (along with moving in together & getting engaged). I was so thrilled she wanted me to photograph their intimate day in Balboa Park. Having just their closest friends & family present made for the smoothest, precious and memorable day!
